this light-filled danish cottage is a whitewashed floor fan’s dream come true. look how everything just pops off those perfectly polished white painted floors — those black sofas look especially dramatic. perhaps not your most practical decor plan, but hey i’m just fantasizing here — i don’t have to clean them. besides, if it’s just a wee cottage that you slip away to on long weekends, how bad could it possibly be? that mix and mismatched dining room set up, and the exposed beamed ceilings are oh-so-sweet, too. featured in inside out, i love the entire space just exactly as it is.
