i’m getting closer to my kitchen remodel so i’ve been saving a bunch of images to my kitchen confidential pinboard for inspiration. i know i want there to be lots of light, and lots of white — starting with carerra marble countertops. i was going to go with a fun moroccan tile on the floors but because of the layout of my house, i think it will break up the space too much, so now i’m hoping the hardwoods underneath the currently hideous tile is in good shape, or at least recoverable. i hope to knock out the wall and existing window to the patio and put in french doors, so that should send light rushing in quite nicely. anyway, i’m getting there with my plans — here’s some white, bright and very light spaces i love.
