do you ever get the urge to embrace your inner hippie — live that truly bohemian lifestyle? sometimes, when i see these kinds of spaces, i imagine myself living in a small beach shack in san francisco’s outer sunset, or tucked away in L.A.’s lush laurel canyon, or even a funky williamsburg loft. just some place that feels a little bit like a throwback to time forgotten. the kind of home where you’d walk around barefoot, tending to lots of house plants, maybe a garden where you’d grow your own fruits and veggies, and you’d probably fill with lots of candlelight. a few good resources for getting this look are anthropologie, abc carpet & home, urban outfitters, and of course your local yard sales and flea markets, etsy vintage, eBay, and craigslist — second hand treasures make for the perfect bohemian hideout!
