Jungalow by the River–Kitchen Update.

Since our kitchen remodel is almost complete, we are coming up on this stylist’s favorite part: accessorizing. I’ve never had open shelving before and am so excited to have my kitchen tchockies (and plants!) on display. We have a ton of stuff from the old rental house that we’ll incorporate. But, I’m certainly sneaking in a few new purchases too. This what our kitchen looks like now. The open shelving is set to be installed next week:

And here are some of the goodies thatI’ve got my eye on…It’s so gratifying purchasing these little things because compared to how much all the big stuff cost, these little accessories have great visual impact and are relatively affordable.

2. hey lady, having trouble with your ebay link. do you mind letting me know which ebay shop you got that gorgeous rug from? looking for something similar for my loft! xo!

3. i think open shelving looks fantastic, but like many, i worry about all the dust? esp. in dishes you don’t use regularly. was that something you considered? or are you a clean freak? i rarely dust so for me…it’d be a huge issue :( i guess i’d be forced to get my cleaning priorities straight with open shelves! ha.

   love the green back splash you’ve got going! yah yah!!!
